Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

8 miles Santaquin Orchard Loop with Melissa, Jen, & Josh.  I am absolutely loving the South County Running crew we have created.  Such awesome company and everyone agreed that my little Payson routes completely rock!  We started slow with the first 3 miles at 8:30 pace but Jen was feeling good and pushed us to a nice negative split and we finished with a 7:45 AP.  Jen just ran a 18 min 5K over the weekend and I am really excited to start doing some track workouts with her.  She is really great at the shorter distances and I am excited to have someone push me at the track.

I had some extra time after the crew left so I added 2 miles with Izzy afterwards.

This is a good article about pacing.  Most of you have probably already read it but if not it's worth the read.  If you don't have time to read the article just read this:  "Every current world record, from the 1500m to the marathon, has been set by an athlete running negative splits."

PM:  1.5 mile running, 20 min elliptical.  Attempting to burn the two pieces of pumpkin pie I consumed for lunch.  I followed up the workout with a 3rd piece of pie. :)

Nice that you have a group forming down there now. That's going to really make the winter months a lot easier.
