Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

7 miles with Jen in Salem, 7:30 pace.  30 minutes weights at the gym.

I am so physically and mentally ready to shut the racing scene down for a little bit.  I am beyond excited that I have no races/pacing/helping with races, ect the next two weekends!  I am registered for Lavender Days Half or 5k on July 13th.  It is a tradition so I will probably run it but I definitely do not plan on racing it hard or doing any sort of workouts to prepare.  I need a break to repair my body and to have some fun and I'm really looking forward to it. :)

I am tentatively hoping to be able to run 1:26-1:27.... but we shall see. My desire to run fast has diminished it seems.

Bring the blog back Julie!! Rachelle--definitely is nice sometimes to just run for the sake of running and forsake the pressure of racing and workouts. Does the body(and mind) good!

Oh do I hear you! Sometimes a good break is where it is at :)

Angie - Lavender half is a pretty terrible course but a great workout and the after party is totally worth it.

Let me know if you decide to come down. I live about 10 miles from the start and have 2 empty bedrooms. :)

Good for you. You have been pushing it hard! You're amazing, Rachelle.
