Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

7 miles.  Longest post marathon run and the best I've felt since the marathon.  I can't believe how big of a toll TOU took on my body compared to Boston and UVM.  Perfect temps this morning and I really enjoyed the run.  It took almost an hour so I'm still taking it nice and easy.  I am fully committed to my plan of taking the rest of the year off. :)

I was just saying the same thing to Andrea yesterday. After Boston, I ran the Thanksgiving Point 1/2 10 days later. It wasn't an all-out effort that day, but I can guarantee you that I could not come close to replicating that run right now, 2 weeks after TOU.

The heat in Boston and headwind at UVM prevented you from really going all the way into the well. At TOU, you were able to tap into everything you had. And when you do that, it takes A LOT out of you.

Yeah Jake I definitely think your right. I also think that with the bottom of my feet bothering me so much I altered my form by running on the outside of my feet to relieve the pain. The more I think about it I believe thats what may have caused the intense calf/knee/IT band pain on my right side. I'm just glad to be putting the pieces back together...slowly by surely. :)

So happy you are recovering well. :) You sure know your body! Good girl for taking it easy and so so so smart to take the rest of the year off. :)

So glad you are feeling good!! The down time after a marathon is almost enough for me not to run them anymore.

Glad you're feeling better. So by taking the rest of the year off you mean only running like 60 miles per week? :)

you are just giving more excuses to be a slacker at SG ; D.
