Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

7 miles from my parents house in Saratoga Springs, 7:45 pace.  Mostly trail running this morning up on the mountain behind the subdivision my parents live in.  I attemped 1 fast mile on the steep downhill running back (an entirely aided 6:33).  Huh that was hard....I don't think I'll attempt it again for awhile.

2.4 mile walk with my Dad and the pups.  We did a few sprints through the sprinklers.  Trying to train the old man to keep up with me for my final kick of a race.

Cake and diet coke for breakfast....I really kinda like staying at my parents house. :)

Hoka Question:  Okay so apparently my feet are so stupid small and they have to special order the Hoka for me.  The guy at runners corner told me I should just go a size up and take the 7.5 but they felt really big on me...Do you hoka wearers size up or down?  JulieC said she wears an entire size smaller in hokas.  Runners Corner told me they should be the same...this shoe drama is getting out of control!

I have a pair of Hokas and I normally wear a 9.5, but I wear a 10 or 10.5 in the Hoka. Mine are the Bondi B, so maybe the models fit differently. My size 10 Bondi's seem a touch tight in the toe box.

I don't know anything about hokas, sorry. But I do know about cake and I like it!! You're supposed to run with me when you're staying at your parents house :) If you happen to be there on Saturday I need 9 easy miles if you want to join me.

I got the bondi b ll. Grey with pink and their website says to go a half size smaller. Neasts also went a half size smaller. I went a half size smaller and my smaller foot was swimming in it so i sent them back and got a full size smaller. Fit great...but dang heel wont let me run. :(

Having small feet is sure cute, but a pain when looking for a specific shoe!! Let me know how those Hoka's feel when you do get them.

Well, nice little run and I hope the shoe/foot situation resolves soon! It is getting quite crazy! You must be a little short person like me.

Thanks for all of the feedback on the Hokas. The ones I tried on were actually the new ones and I cannot remember the name. I am very excited to try them but just want to make sure I get the correct size.

Carina - I was totally going to call you but I didn't get to bed until midnight and just didn't know if I was going to be able to pull my lazy butt out of bed to meet anybody. Next time for sure!
