30 min strength training

8 mi boring progressive run on the treadmill.  Started at an 8 min pace and finished with a 7 min pace.  60 minutes

So hard to be at the gym after a fun and sunny weekend down south.  I am really starting to hate the gym.  Nearly every single treadmill is broken and some of the guys that do weights there are just down right rude!  The only thing that kept me from poking my eyeballs out today or tripping a meat head was a nice chat with pregnant little Merri! :) 

PM:  4 miles easy, 8:04 pace.

I hate the gym too. So bad. But I am glad I can use the weights. The weights aren't so bad at 5 am. It's pretty open. Nicer meatheads.

Someday, the inversion will lift and we can run outside :(

It really is the poorest kept Gold's I have been to in regards to broken equipment. I'm thankful for working close to the Orem one to break up the monotony sometimes.

Please don't trip any meatheads, I would fear for your safety. You are tiny and they might squash you!

I am feeling the same way. I am really starting to despise this winter. I want to run in shorts and a tank top again. One day...so far away.

Oh treadmills... Stinks that you have some jock heads at the gym, big muscle men scare me. They just want to impress the cute little lady (you) running on a TM at a near impossible speed.

Thanks for answering my questions I had for you about training a few weeks back. Sounds like you follow the SOS plan (Something Of Substance 3x weekly). Looks like that plan has really helped you out. Plus you throw in a million miles, which always makes for a better runner in my opinion. Thanks for the tips. I do have a few races here and there before UVM, but not many.

Bec - yep you got it all figured out. :) speedwork, tempo, and LR (with a fast finish!). Yay for UVM, it is the best!
