I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

30 min clubhouse elliptical

2 hours helping my Mom with nursery.  8 kids under the age of 2....holy crap that was hard!

A little over 32 min jogging at the indoor track.  A nice soft surface for recovery but too much turning for my IT band so I kept it short.  I decided that based on my internal 8 min pace the track is 10.5 laps for a mile instead of 13 like my Dad told me.  Either that or I was incredibly slow yesterday.

40 min walking with my parents and the pups.

Is your mom a nursery leader? My hat goes off to them EVERY Sunday - and I am Oh, so grateful to them for letting me drop my baby off so I can enjoy my meetings. What a hard job - I know your mom really appreciated your help. You are awesome with little kids.

Emily and I are meeting up tomorrow to do 10 if you are interested.

Melody yes my Mom is a nursery leader in her ward. In fact her and my Dad are all by themselves in the nursery. She absolutely loves it and is so cute to do songs, activities, ect with the kids. I do not know how she does it! I was so exhausted I literally slept the rest of the day....my parents had to wake me up and drag me to the track.

I am doing a speedworkout at the indoor Springville track with Jen in the am or I would put on my big girl pants and join you girls. I've been such a baby lately with the cold!

I have 12 on Wednesday... You know you are TEMPTED!

haha I am in as long as you are okay with going at my recovery pace. Rumor has it that if you run slow enough in the cold you will not sweat enough to freeze to death. :-)

you are wise rachelle--- it does work!! but somehow I think a Rachelle/Melody combo spells fast ; D. have fun!! i don't want to even think about your plans at speed at the track...scary speed!! not sure you will have fun there but try nonetheless. i can't believe I have become a nonrunner AGAIN.

Julie - Jen is training for a 1 mile race!! She wants to do 200's at like a 5 min pace. What the heck I think I'll just make up my own workout. It is an 8 lap track and not the best for my IT band so we shall see how it goes.

I am slightly jealous (knocking on wood as I type this) that you have an excuse to not run outside in this antartica like weather. :)
