Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Hi Rachelle, Scott here. I spoke with you yesterday morning(Mon 26th)at Gold's Gym about this workout.(Mon 11/19) I'm thinking of trying this type of workout tomorrow. The workout look as if it would help build speed in the legs. If you get sometime could you give me some more guidance or suggestions about the run. Thanks!

Hi Scott! I did not know you were on the blog. :) I will send you a PM but what I would recommend is using your current 5k time to figure out what you should be doing the faster repeats at. You can use the Mcmillan calculator to figure out what paces to shoot for. What did you say your new 5k PR was?

From Scotch on Tue, Nov 27, 2012 at 16:16:44 from 173.165.134.206

Wow...such a quick response! Thanks! My 5K PR is 21:49. McMillan calculator??? I'll google it. (: Thanks!

Rachelle you should become a personal trainer!!! Thanks for all the info! You are terrific about conveying useful running information. Qualify for Boston would be awesome! I see that you've already ran Boston, are you planning to run it again?
