Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

25 min lower body strength training

20 min elliptical - my legs were wobbly after the ST and I didn't want to make a fall off the treadmill type of scene so this seemed like the safest bet....

6 treadmill mi, 7:30ish pace, 2-3.5% incline.  Felt oddly incredible running on the mill this morning...weird?!?

I've gained a good 3lbs since the half which is no big deal, I think I earned my "fat & happy" days but seriously if you haven't tried cookie butter yet just say no!!!

PM:  4 easy, 8 min pace.

Cookie butter sounds heavenly! Great work today! I thought I saw in last month's Runner's World an article about how gaining a couple extra pounds is good for recovery?

Hey, I felt oddly incredible today too. Must be spring.

Jackie - cookie butter = AMAZING! I may or may not have gone through 2 jars in 10 days.....and yeah seriously not concerned about the weight gain. It really is a good thing to prevent injury. :)

Rob - I'm pretty sure it was the beautiful weather inside the gym this morning that made the run feel so fantastic!

Yeah, my gym had exceptionally nice weather this morning too. Weird.

I want to click on the blue words. It's going to take every ounce of my will power to stay away from those two, very dangerous, blue words. I'm outta here...

I might be back...

Love when it feels good!! I always gain weight after races. I always attribute it to water weight repairing my muscles. Probably it's the reward eating, but I convince myself otherwise :)

The weight gain is water weight Rachelle and Carina. Trust me. You swell up to prevent further injury. I've studied it a ton. But cookie butter is amazing. I have a jar in my cupboard. YUMO

Cookie butter.... Looks terrific!

Nice incline miles! That's quite a pace at that incline. :)
