Big grass loop warm up, then lifted weights - still just 2x11 easy. Next week I'm upping it to 3x11, big grass loop cool down. Will run more with the club this evening.

Ran the usual loop with the club, quite a few people out today, which was fun. In our group, only Fre, Austin and I did the 7-miler, 7:30/mi avg. and I was dying. Not really, but my legs felt really tired and heavy the whole run. Glad I resisted the urge to go donate blood at our school's blood drive. (DS2 196.4)

Hey what's going on with Kermit? I saw him today at the strip mall. Things didn't look so good.

He's totaled - a grand total of $1,100 dollars worth. But we're a bit too attached to him to let him go to the smasher, so we bought him back for $125 and we're going to take him home (soon?) to try and fix him for less than the estimated $3000. Sad days.

Good idea resisting the urge to donate blood. It definitely would have made for a long February.

Hey I can hang out Friday night until last but I cannot have a sleep over.

Hey Ruth

Good job tonight on the run. To answer your question about the DS Trainer. My first pair I got just over 300 miles and I started to feel like they needed replaced. This second pair that I have right now has just over 200 I think, so probably another 100 or 150. I don't think they are as durable as say the Nimbus or Cumulus. I know Holt has liked the Stratus.
