A bit rainy and cold out (though I luckily avoided the worst part of it since it poured rain and snow this morning and now that I'm done it's hailing), but the run was remarkably awesome nonetheless! I love the peak part of the season, I just feel energized and running fast feels effortless. Today's run was just that, fun and really easy, even though my avg. pace was 7:45/mi. New shoes are in order, though. (GT 512.2)

And... for the first time ever, I voted!

Voting is fun. I remember going to the polls as a little one and sneaking a peak under the curtain to the booth with my parents. :)

Glad you got to vote! It's an exciting time each and every year! Keep it up!

Did you see Paula in the NYC Marathon the other day? She ground the competition into a pulp! Kind of reminds me of your grit and determination :) You are one runner not to be messed with! Slice and dice!

From Ruthie on Tue, Nov 04, 2008 at 19:36:11

That sure was some dominatingly beautiful running. Thanks, btw! Though I'm positive she would slice and dice me pretty thoroughly if I ran in the same race as her!

Yeah but see, Ruth, you rock out the pirate socks! And you know how to hang tough. In a couple years you will be scooping up runners from the lead packs in marathons and throwing them to the wolves, taking no prisoners, and plodding on to victory. Big things are in order for you ;) I am sure of it!
