Run/walk on the tread, and lots of packing to go on our trip. Jim was out of town, so I had to do everything myself (and get the house cleaned). Is it just me or does every woman hate to leave town with a dirty house. I just hate coming back to it that way. I was exhausted!
Another not so happy visit to the midwife/nurse. As she was checking my belly she noticed that it was looking lumpy. After further inspection, she figured out that the baby was laying transverse (the worst position they can be in at this point cause they can't come out normally during labor - most have to have c-sections...ugh. She did an ultrasound to make sure (and also made sure she was a girl:)) I also found out that I have strep-b again!! and have to be on the drip antibiotic 2 hours before baby is born. It's not a huge deal, just a pain.
However I left the office feeling discouraged after the talk of c-sections, and having to come in the following week to have her turned. a doc has to do it, and I guess it's pretty painful. Hopefully she flips on her own!
By the end of the day, she had turned, but she felt breach - I really didn't want to have to worry about this! |
