Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Ran early on a very nice morning. Felt good and refreshed so I opted to ride the bike to work and then some. 25 miles total for the day on the bike. It's getting a bit warm already this year. We are expecting temps in the 80's this week. Maybe we can get away with planting the garden before memorial day......
All excited about RLRF...... I am going to start monday and give it a whirl. My entries will be more detailed and that means everyone will know how slow I really am. Today I ran 6 x 800 repeats at 3:20 with a 400 recovery in between. Felt good today. Some of the workouts in the book look a bit intimidating to me.....
Enjoyed this morning's junk miles. Knowing that my time running junk miles is about to end, I feel a certain need to run a few of them before monday. Hanna ran 4 with me and then my son ran the last 3 and a quarter. What a grand day!
