Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Ten easy treadmill miles at 5am this morning. No PTT...... don't know if I was experiencing phantom pains Saturday or what. 8:30 avg pace this morning. Had a good Sunday! Started at 6:45am and finished up at 1:30pm. The shortest sunday I have had in 2 1/2 years. Got a good nap and watched the Marx Bros in the evening. Are there any Coldplay fans out there? Purchased their latest cd over the weekend. It's a good one!

IJR It has sure helped me stay consistent in my training. I've been able to fit runs in better with my family's schedule. I'm sure impressed with your speedy recovery and fast race. I have ordered the book rlrf friday and expect it here sometime this week.

Thanks joe & IJR .... By the way, when watching 24 it's not that bad. I can polish off 2 episodes in 10 miles. They way I figure it 120 miles = 1 season of 24. How's my math?

And to realize I bought all of the 24 seasons and wasted my time just sitting there watching them (not all at one time) and could have been working out while I watched....Not very good time managment on my part :-(
