K, the SG IronMan was in town last saturday...way to go to everyone who finished. Congrats to my friend Hollie...You rock! I volunteered at bike aid station #2 (well sort of, my shift was 3pm to 7pm, but when we got out there at 3....all the bikers had already come through, they didn't realize that they would be done at that point..I was a little dissapointed, but maybe secretly happy! I really wanted to go watch them running the marathon portion!) So we went back to my mother-in-laws house that was on Diagonal St (right where the runners and bikers were....to me that is the best spot to be, you get to see the athletes a total of 5 times there...they bike past once, then run past you 4 times) I loved it ! It made me want to do a ironman one day....maybe....! However, MY husband signed up yesterday to do it next yr.....that is so awesome and I am so happy/scared/nervous/excited for him!!!!!! Anyway, I have been being sooooo lazy lately (being pregnant I have come up with ALOT of excuses why NOT to exercise or eat HEALTHY, but the Ironman has re-inspired me! ) I met Suzy tonight ant did a late night run...kind of fun to run at night, Im usually a bigger fan of running in the morning! but still fun! Suzy decided to run the marathon this yr...its her second time...she did it 2 yrs ago when it was awful weather and stormed the entire time and she swore she would never do it again....I am so glad she is this yr, I love running with her, she doesn't take running toooooo seriously, just for fun (which is kinda where Im at right now!)
