For the second day in a row, I closed up the Lions Recreation Center by running 19.2 miles on the elliptical machine before mixing in some weights.  I did a few sets of ankle band sides across the weight room which seemed to hit the tight part of my left hamstring.  Crossing my fingers, but after my workout and taking a fifteen-minute ice bath, I sort of felt I could go for a light jog without hobbling.  Depending on how I feel tomorrow, I might try a short and easy pace jog on the treadmill to test how well I can push off of my left leg.

In addition to my 3.9-mile bike ride to the Lions Recreation Center and back, my non-running workout consisted of 300 sit-ups, 30 push-ups, 100 (30 lbs) curls, and 20 (50 lbs) reverse curls.

OH MY! I am sorry to hear about your 2 aching body parts! I know when I had PF last summer I ended up tweaking several parts of my body from weird running form. Take care of the hamstring!!!

How is the foot doing, though? Do you still sleep with the sock? I hated that thing, I could not sleep at all with it on.

Hope you find the right exercises to make you feel better.

Thanks Kelli and Burt and I'm working through my hamstring injury. The good news is that the PF in my right foot has gone away. Kelli, I agree, it's tough to sleep with the Strasburg Sock and the first night I had it on, I really did not notice any difference. However, after wearing it for 3 more nights, my right foot felt great. It might have been just a coincidence, but I'm a believer in the sock even though it disrupts your sleep. Keep up the running!

I believe the sock works, I just wish I could use it!
