| | Ran after work 80's and very humid but things are going to change tomorrow the high is going to be in the mid 50's, cloudy and north wind with a good chance of rain. We have a bike trip plan for the next two days. It'll be 100+ miles tomorrow then about 70 or so Saturday morning ought to be perfect weather if we don't get wet !!!!!!!! Hey, I don't guess I'd melt anyway ??? | Add Comment |

99.67 mile bike ride to Clarksville Tn. on a cold (40's) rainy (90 miles worth) windy day. One bike crash, three flats and several stops to dry out and warm up we were safely in our hotel room. Every year this bike ride becomes an adventure but this year was one of the toughest but looking back I wouldn't have it any other way. | Add Comment |
| | 65.7 mile bike ride on another crisp day temps at the start in the 40's, it did get in the low 50's by the afternoon but didn't feel very warm because of the clouds and a stiff north wind but life was good at least it wasn't raining. Really it was quite an enjoyable ride from Clarksville to Nashville.Actually I made my way through downtown Nashville to about 15 miles south to Franklin Tn . I rode on highway 31 which took me past some of the most beautiful houses and residential areas Nashville has to offer. My wife and my best freind(our Boxer) drove down to meet me. We had supper with a friend from work and his wife that was in town to see his favorite country star at the Grand ole' Opry. Then we enjoyed a little shopping and some ice cream and a good night sleep. | Add Comment |
