| | Spent the day at the Riverfront at the foot of broadway in Paducah rowing a Dragon boat with 20 friends and 25 other teams for a charity event. This was the first year for this event. Dragon boat racing is new to this area and proved to be quite the challenge but at the same time a "lot of fun". It was a beautiful day for this event 70's sunny but the wind did get up later on in the afternoon which contributed to a couple of the teams boat turning over, luckly we were not one of them. We finished the day in the middle of the pack with our last time just one second off the best time of the day.It took us a couple of heats to figure out were to position everybody in the boat and how to keep everybody in sync. | Comments(1) |
