6.5 mile recovery run. The legs feel surprisingly good today after yesterdays long run. I ran the first couple mile slow like I should but picked the pace up and ended up with a 8:03 avg. pace. Too fast for a recovery run but I just went with what felt right. I might try and get another 3 or 4 miles in this afternoon. This next week is going to be busy at work and it'd help to get a few extra miles in today.

Added another 3 miles in the afternoon

Great 20 miler yesterday, at a real nice clip too. Be careful if you go out for a second run today. Remember today should be a recovery day.

Thanks for the advice Rhett it sounds weird but sometimes as a runner it's hard to take your foot off the pedal.
