A nice little afternoon jaunt in the foothills... legs felt tired, I am hoping for a good recovery by Saturday so I have some pep in the step! I will keep things easy throughout the week in hopes of being nice and fresh!

Race: Ogden Marathon (26.37 Miles) 03:39:56

Great day to run a race today: WEnt into the race with the thought of if everything goes well I will be in the mid 3:20's, I'd be happy with a 3:30ish and kinda expected to be in the low 3:30's... didn't quite happen...

Started conservative, kept a solid 8/min pace through much of the first half and felt really good, Perfect temps and I was running very smooth. Then my right foot which I believe is still injured from the Maui Marathon, (picture perfect Stress Fracture symptoms)... tried to ignore it and adjust but it kept bugging, right after the half I stopped and unlaced my shoe 2 laces and that seemed to help for awhile, but I never was able to get back into a good rhythm, but I stayed pretty strong it was just a sufferfest, especially when I hit mile 23, last 2 mile I dropped into the 9min range... but finished and felt good to get under 3:40.

Based off my overall training I actually feel great about the run, I really haven't been training super hard. So feel good other than the foot and I hope I haven't injured it too bad, I have a 50 mile trail run in 3 weeks!!
