Tough start after a long weekend, woke up late then half way to work I realized I'd forgotten my key to get in the building and had to go back home so my run was cut short.  I'm going to attempt doubles all this week at lunch so maybe shorter 4-5 miles each is better anyway.

6 miles at the Fitness center followed by some weights.  Didn't get my double in yesterday, not sure if it will happen today either.

I've been going to Orem Rec center for about a month now and just barely figured out that they have an indoor track.  I guess I noticed the stairs but never really thought about what was down there :)  So today I ran on the track instead, it was a nice change, definately cooler than the cardio farm with a nice breeze, it was nice to have other people to pass to make the time go by faster.  6.2 laps = 1 mile in the outer lane 6.5 on the inner, according to the chart so I just ran 38 laps in the outer lane.  Its a concrete track so probably harder on the feet and joints than the treadmill but definately a nice change.

I really like the indoor track but I can almost feel the shin splints coming on every step on that hard concrete.  I was a little bit sore this morning so I started on the elliptical and then did 25 laps on the track.  I better stop all this non-treadmill running or I wont get a 1000 treadmill miles in this year :)

20 minutes on the elliptical, 31 laps on the track and about 15 minutes of weights.
