Progress?  Yeah, I'd say probably compared to any attempt at a run I've had in the last 4 weeks this was progress.  Started with 15 minutes on the elliptical and noticed I was not really feeling much pain at all so I hit the treadmill very slow at first.  Could feel some tenderness but not the intense pain I've had in the past 12 weeks.  And I'm walking normal now, so maybe my 2 weeks off did pay off.

Never mind the fact my HR would indicate that my new 10K pace is 7:00min/mile.

10 minute cool down on the elliptical.

Oh, also wanted to mention.  It is so good to be back home, I just pulled out of my next event so potentially I could be in town until July, wow that's a record.  All the rain sure has made everything beautiful since I left 2 weeks ago.  Happy day!

Beautiful day being home, getting a good run in and getting to stay home for a while! Love it.

Nice! And really there's nothing wrong with 7mm in a 10k. That's probably my pace, although I've never run a 10k so I don't know. Great run this morning :)

Rachel, yeah life is good. Good job on Saturday BTW.

Carina, I know I shouldn't complain about my times. It probably makes me come across as arrogant, I'll have to work on that. It's just dis-heartening to see how all the hard work I put in the first 3 months of the year have now been wasted by stupidity.

Nice workout! Good to hear there was no pain.

How was the doctor?

Doctor tomorrow!

I thought it was Monday, oops! Fill me in!

Sitting in the waiting room now! Do you happen to know how much the running lab costs? I was just reading through the pamphlet.

From Rob on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 16:56:43 from 204.15.86.95

Initial prognosis. Stress fracture in my hip joint :( MRI tomorrow but I have been banned from running until proven otherwise.

From Kelli on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 20:04:35 from 71.219.96.115

OH!!! That is not good. Sorry to hear that. I hate MRI's. How long will you be out?

I have never sat in the waiting room long enough to read anything!!! Did you find out about it? Sounds interesting.

And, finally, did ya like him? He is a good guy.

From Rob on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 20:12:51 from 204.15.86.95

I liked him right up until the part where he told me not to run anymore. JK. He was very nice and and knowledgeable.

;o) Believe me, I feel the same way about him. Hopefully he gets you back on track soon. He is a runner, so he gets our craziness.

Could you make me any more nervous for MY appointment tomorrow?!? :)

Rob, I am so sorry! I've had those same words spoken to me and I don't ever want to relive the weeks that followed! Hopefully the healing will happen quickly and you'll be back on your feet in no time. Let us know how the MRI goes.
