Not very happy with how today turned out.... 5:01 in the mile. Eight miles overall and just felt pretty tired. Talking with Jamie she thinks that it is in the mental game that I am losing in races, so any tips would be appreciated... With the times I am hitting in practice I should be able to do much better, so hopefully it only goes up from here!

I dont know just a thought. But I know that it was just 6X400 the day before but that could definitely put some fatigue on the legs. I usually do a light workout 2 days before I go all out or race. So next time maybe do the intervals, next day go easy, then time trial. Just a thought, I am sure there are other approaches out there too.
