14.05 miles easy out on the slick roads. Drivers around here don't like to move an inch toward the double yellow line to give runners space. It's move off the road or risk getting hit by their side mirror. Drives me nuts, they have the entire road with no oncoming traffic. Move over a bit!

I hear that! It was a death trap down here today - I gave up and just went to a mall parking lot.

Please be careful. At least you got a good run in though.

I was hoping Indy would be a bit more welcoming given that running isnt weird there like it is here. I've had people try to take me out when they have two, very open, lanes (and two on the other side if it were an emergency). Stay safe.

I am sort of glad my wife doesn't read my blog. I play chicken constantly. By the way, that is an awful photo.

Dave, good idea on the parking lot, although that would kind of drive me nuts. Still better than a treadmill though I guess.

Amy, I'm very careful. No worries.

Jason, the rest of Indy may be ok, but the area the hotel is in has got to be the worst place for running. Just very few runner-friendly roads and drivers must not be used to runners trying to run on these roads.

Josh, yeah the quality of the photo is very low. I'll have to change it again soon I suppose.

I like the photo, the guy on the bike looks like a bad A! who is that by the way? Good run to start the week Riley Cook.

Any guy that has to use bike wheels instead of his own wheels to keep up can't be much of a bad A! J/k Ben.

From Ben VanBeekum on Mon, Dec 09, 2013 at 14:24:27 from 67.169.244.46

From Ben VanBeekum on Mon, Dec 09, 2013 at 14:31:49 from 67.169.244.46

Nice running out there, Riley.

I really like your new picture. Although it's a bit grainy, that picture represents a phenomenal race you had this year! I also like that you have one glove on. And I certainly know the reason for that :)

From RileyCook on Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 07:32:49 from 64.134.162.74

Ah yes, the one glove! Good times! Yeah the photo quality is unfortunately poor, but I do like it.
