-Half: (split from 2nd half of SGM 2013) 1:39:40

-Marathon (2013 SGM) 3:26:07 Official chip time 3:29:30 (had to take a 0.75 mile detour to get my watch).

-Survived Speedgoat 50K 2013 (Time 9:59:51)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Attempting to complete half ironman triathlon.  I've done a decent amount of running but not much else for a while.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and happy.

Run everyday forever.

married with kids trying to inspire the family to be healthy and active daily.

Did some miles while on call trying to go sub 8 min mile. forgot to bring my watch so used the nike plus app. splits were 7:47, 8:05 and 7:45.

This was a super fun race. I have been looking forward to running it since last year when my brother ran it and raved about how fun it was. It was great. I was really happy with my time. I think if I hadn't been hampered with the plantar fasciitis issue I could have trained more this past month and performed slightly better. However, my initial goal was just o finish the race. and secondarily I had hoped to do the race faster than a 12 min/mile pace. I was able to do that AP was 11:32/mile. I think there is plenty of room for improvement next year. I will keep up the trails as soon as the plantar fascia gets better.
