-Marathon (2013 SGM) 3:26:07 Official chip time 3:29:30 (had to take a 0.75 mile detour to get my watch).

-Survived Speedgoat 50K 2013 (Time 9:59:51)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Attempting to complete half ironman triathlon.  I've done a decent amount of running but not much else for a while.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and happy.

Run everyday forever.

Just did the regular run today. It felt pretty hard maybe because I hadn't ran for a couple of days. Maybe because I was tired from the long travel week last week and the hard run on Thursday. Not completely sure.

Mostly flat with a bit of a hill at the half way point. I also did a bit of trail running not much before I had to go back to go to work. I felt better than yesterday.

Nice trail run in my new Altra lone peaks. This was beautiful day and a great trail to run on. It is close to my house and has Ok elevation gain for tucson maybe i will try and do this run several times a week until it is too easy. I did have to stop and rest a couple of times (30 sec a time). I like the new shoes and am excited to get more trails. I am thinking about getting a pair of road shoes with zero drop, except my wife might kill me if I tell her I want yet more running shoes.

This was a great run/hike up to Wasson peak in Tucson. I had to walk probably close to 50% of the way up. I think it is a great hill to practice on. I would like to get to the point I can run the whole thing.
