-Half: (split from 2nd half of SGM 2013) 1:39:40

-Marathon (2013 SGM) 3:26:07 Official chip time 3:29:30 (had to take a 0.75 mile detour to get my watch).

-Survived Speedgoat 50K 2013 (Time 9:59:51)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Attempting to complete half ironman triathlon.  I've done a decent amount of running but not much else for a while.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and happy.

Run everyday forever.

married with kids trying to inspire the family to be healthy and active daily.

Ran on the strip. This week I was at a conference so i ran every morning on the strip not great running but better than nothing. This day I went north from planet hollywood/Paris to the end of the casinos and back.

I ran up Wade road. It feels good to be back in town. I used the foot pod for the first time. It gave me my cadence for the run, which was 182 spm average. I dont know very much about it but the little paragraph garmin has on it says that is in the more experienced or faster runner zone. I guess I am happy with that. I guess I will see what it shows for the next while and see if I can read something about cadence and what I should be doing to get faster.
