I slowed down to 6.5 for my speed and I think it's helping.  My legs still feel tight, but the extra stretching is helping with that as well.  I ran 3.25 miles in 30:35, then did a longer walk for a cool down.  My tailbone is beyond tight still.  The running is helping it relax enough so I CAN stretch though.

have you tried any piriformis stretches? The hams, hips and lower back are all connected and get each other all irritated :(
