After serious issues with my calf last week, my chiropractor suggested laying off using it too much for a few days. He said I pulled the muscle behind my calf and had me do some ultrasound therapy on it. I think it really helped. I've been rolling it and stretching it a lot too. Today I decided to give it a go, and it worked for the most part. Toward the end I started feeling the calf again, so I shaved off a little of the run and just walked the rest of the time. Did a .25 warm-up, jogged 1 mile, took a potty break, jogged 1.25 miles, then walked .5 miles. Total time was 31:31. I really hope that whatever I did to piss off my left leg goes away. My quads started hurting yesterday for no reason at all. My chiropractor suggested I start doing some intense massage therapy on my back/upper hip muscles. I think I might take his advice this week.
