Lunchtime run north of the airport.  Pancake flat roads.  You know it was an enjoyable run when you finish and realize you ran a mile further than you thought.  Sunny and not too warm.

Very nice run. That is desolation central North of the airport! How did you find yourself out there? Work? My husband used to work near CA ave and Bangerter. I ran 4 miles around his 'block' waiting for him once and I figured it was the flattest I'd ever run in my life!

RAD I work in the tall building at the airport. To get there you have to take a ~3 mile dead end road off of I-215. It's a quiet road and connects to some nice gravel roads and even the Legacy Pkwy if I'm feeling really ambitious. Hey nice work on your 5K this morning! It's hard to pace yourself on a short hilly course. That's why I haven't done a 5K in a long time (I also think they're ridiculously expensive). Sounds like you nailed it.

ahhh, the big tall building...got it :)

I'm with you on the 5K, and I think that is why I like this one. I run the course enough that I could do it in my sleep (it does go right in front of my house), and it's free. But, when someone is standing at the finish line with a stop watch, it makes the push a little harder :)

Recovery going well? Ready to go out and get that sub 3:30? :)
