Ran with the BBK's, but knew I'd need to take it slow and easy. Thankfully some of the more dedicated members came and were willing to run slow with me. Had a great chat with Debbie and Shimelle, just following the lead group as they faded from sight. Did a final 5K loop with Debbie to even things up to 8 and despite a rocky start, felt much better at the end.

Got home and poor Lucy has been neglected due to me running with BBK's and not at home, so I jumped on the bike and took her on a run. Since she has to sprint with me on the bike I could tell she was tired after about a mile, so we headed home and only did about 1.5ish. At least she is now sufficiently tired and happy. Worst part? I let her out back before leaving to do her dooty :) while I got some things done inside and got my bike, but she stopped on the run to do it! Blech! I, of course, thought she'd accomplished what she needed to before we left so I didn't bring any bags. I am one of the FEW responsible dog owners that won't let their dog poo on other people's lawns and then leave it there, but there was some guy sitting on his porch next door to the house she decided to stop at. Man...really?!? So I felt like an idiot having to pedal away without picking it up (I did ask him if he had a bag and he said NO). I took Lucy home then drove back with a few bags to get it picked up and packaged up to take home and throw away. Grossest thing I've had to do in a while. I prefer to do it at home with the pooper scooper. Packed up the kids and went to yoga. I wish it was as wonderful as normal, but I was pretty unhappy during it all. At least I got some good yoga time in...I love yoga!
