Personal:

I have been a runner off and on since I was a kid.  Its something I have always loved and hope to be running until I'm just too old to do it anymore.  I enjoy running some 5ks and halfs each year and try to be consistent with my training.  But I often find it challenging with three kids to get all the miles in that I want to.

I love my kids so much, but running really is my sanity and I enjoy my "me" time.  I may just be forever a "middle of the pack" runner but have hopes of getting faster.

25 min elliptical, 6 min lateral machine, 2.5 miles around the track slow.  This workout lacked energy and my right side is having issues.  I may need to consider taking some time off from running, but I don't want to.  The thought is depressing.  In fall 2011 I had a stress fracture of the right pubic ramus.  This is the loop shaped bone you sit on, its the same area that is causing me problems now and its the plague of my life.

Well that is just crappy news! Maybe you should get checked out to make sure it isn't serious. Hope it starts feeling better soon!

No updates for a week, I hope you're doing ok.

Hey thanks for asking, that's very nice of you. yeah I have not ran in a week, its pretty lame. I just need to take some time off, complete rest for a couple weeks. It is a little easier to deal with being down and out this time of year when its all yucky outside. But if it was nice out I think I would go crazy.

That is smart and yeah this is for sure the best time of the year to be taking time off. Hope you start feeling 100% soon.
