Have fun running, keep fit, and fight middle age spread. Run consistently and injury free. Maintain a healthy balance between running and other life priorities. Encourage my ever-aging running buddies to keep running so we can continue to share runs on the trail instead of rocking chairs.

Blessed to be married to Karen for 30 years. We have six children (4 daughters/2 sons) ages 16 to 30, and one wonderful granddaughter.

Larry and I ended up running alone this morning. I got in 1.5 miles before meeting up with him and we ran the 2000 N route, slightly modified. His dog Ozzie seemed to fall behind more than normal and we kept stopping for him. Now that school is back in I'm trying to get home by 6:45am for our morning scriptures and prayer. At 6:40am I realized I was still 1.5 miles from home, and Ozzie was nowhere to be seen again. Larry sent me home and went back for his dog. No...I didn't run the last 1.5 miles in 5 minutes. I was late and only made it in time for prayer.
