Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Did a bit of a tempo up Canyon Rd and back. Averaged about 6:15/mile on the up part and 5:25/mile on the down part. 5:50/mile overall for 8 miles. Fall colors were gorgeous today.

I forgot to blog this earlier, so now it's the next week and I'm struggling to remember. I think I ran birch creek with Cody. Fall colors were amazing, and we kept the pace slow, something like 7:30/mile average. 8 miles total.

Ran up Pack Creek Rd from the cabin to the picnic area and pack. Thankfully, there was a pit toilet at the picnic area, which I badly needed. Saw lots of deer during the run. The Fremont Cottonwood trees were all lit up bright yellow too, and I love the LaSalle Mnts.
