Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Ran from my house to the start of the single-track of the River Trail. I think it's about 12 miles, but am not sure. Afterward, I ran a few blocks each way to help a friend move.

As far as your motivation factor today for running how was it? I wish I had half your talent. I like your attitude towards running, because you know when you feel highly motivated to train and seriously do it. But when you don't you turn the serious ways off.

I think when your up and down about your motivation that it really hinders your performance. Maybe a good Discussion Form topic.

I know your going to have bad days when your motivated. But when your unmotivated than your already setting yourself up for a bad training day.

Anyway, enough rambling (just a lot on my mind) great run. Sorry to bring up a ridiculous topic.

Paul, I must have missed you this morning as I went out canyon road to river trail too, but maybe you were out earlier than me. maybe if you do this same thing next saturday I can join you for all or part of it? I am planning something pretty similar for today for next Saturday, but maybe bumping up to 12 or 13 depending on the leg. kind of playing it by ear
