Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

I just checked out your tentative race schedule for the year. Sweat! I love it... all the races look like fun and I'm sure you'll do amazing. I also think it's a smart schedule with the marathon coming in Dec. By then you'll be ready to PR and then some on that course.

From paul on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 13:33:27 from 65.103.252.214

Thanks. It all look fun to me too. We'll wait and see on the marathon. In order to run it, I need minimal or zero setbacks during the summer and fall. Otherwise it's too risky with not enough payoff.

From Jon on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 13:44:55 from 138.64.2.76

I'm seriously considering Des News 10k, and it looks like we'll do the TOU 1/2 together and maybe CIM (probably not). Any chance you do Wahsatch Steeplechase instead of Summerfest?

From paul on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 13:55:31 from 65.103.252.214

Jon - no, I probably have one of my Saturday meetings that day, so whatever I do, I will have to be in Smithfield by 8AM.

Des News 10K is a fun race. The who's-who of Utah running all come out for it, and there is great competition. It's kind of like the St. George of 10K's.

Jon keeps pestering me for my race schedule so in return I refuse to give it to him, but as a tip off to him, I will see you on the 4th and 24th...

From paul on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 14:49:13 from 65.103.252.214

I don't believe that Jon would ever pester anyone about anything...

Actually, my race schedule is entirely false. I've contrived it simply to confuse my enemies.

Clyde, did you really mean sweat? or sweet? Both apply.

From Jon on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 15:16:51 from 138.64.2.76

I would never pester anyone about anything. Especially on a Friday. But, Cody, now that I know you are holding back from me due to this "supposed" pestering, I will do more of it. The truth must come out.

Paul- you can make it back to Smithfield by 8 am. Wahsatch Steeplechase starts at 6 am. So that gives you 2 hours to run it and drive home. Should be easy for you.

From superfly on Fri, May 15, 2009 at 17:49:05 from 209.33.210.52

Burt I meant sweet. About 50% of the time my brain gets them mixed up while typing. If I'm writing them out I never make that mistake. I don't proof read on the blog either so anything can happen. I guess sweat does kind of apply.
