Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Hi Paul. You are a inspiration to me, and a good example too. My name is Patrick Monson. I am a marathon runner and I also have ankylosing spondylitis, bummer. I sent you a message about a year ago on your blog about me working on a Master Thesis at WSU concerning this disease in us marathon runners. I hope the research will help other marathon runners with the disease. I don't know if you remember or not. I was wondering if you would be interested in taking an anonymous and confidential survey in the near future. I would really appreciate it if you could do this cause I think the more marathon runners I can get to do this, the better my research will be. Thanks again, and I hope you continue to run and accomplish your goals. Right now i'm trying to get in shape enough to qualify for the Boston Marathon. That's my next goal after this Thesis fun. Have a good one.

Thanks for the kind words, and I hope the research is going well. Feel free to contact me anytime. Best wishes with BQ'ing.

Hey thanks Paul! Hey do you know Joe Wilson? He's a good friend of mine and he used to coach my little brother Taylor Monson in track? I was just Have wondering. He's an awesome runner too.
