Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Another day off. I'll start running again tomorrow.

In the meantime, thanks to Jon bugging me, I have updated my personal blog with two brand-spankin'-new postings. Mostly rehashes of things I've already said, but whatever. They can be viewed HERE and HERE.

Also, my official RnR time was updated to be 1:08:12. Sweet! A 3-second PR without having to do anything. It's been a productive time off...

Yeah- new posts of Paul's introspective running-related thoughts. I actually saw these earlier today, even, though I haven't commented. Yet.

How come when I click on the links it says "Service Unavailable"? By the way, Paul, is there a book out by this Tinman person you quote a lot that explains his running philosophy?

Cheryl - I don't know. The links work for me. Regarding tinman, there is no book, but there are several articles on therunzone.com that outline many of the principles. Also, if you read therunzone.com message board frequently, you will pick it up. Also, he coached me for a little while, so I learned a bit then as well.

Nice shades, dude.

The link works for me, as well.

Thanks. I will look at that website.

Like the second post. Well said.
