Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

AM - I woke up feeling pretty good this morning, so I went back at it. Ran the dog around the block, then ran to breakfast and back home. 3.75 miles total. Might go again after work if my energy is still good.

The guy in the Jaguar owes me a new St. George Running Center jacket. The mud he sprayed all over me didn't come out. Did anyone get a license plate number?

I'm glad your feeling better. The performance that you showed Saturday was inspiring and impressive. Your competitive attitude really comes out in races.

Question: My achillies is starting to feel good and doesn't hurt anymore that I can tell. I want to do some type of intensity workout. At least start some speed training. I thought about just doing some tinman tempos for the next couple of weeks. Your Thoughts.

Kory - run nice and easy for 3 weeks, get your mileage to where you want it, and then start some tempos. Err on the side of caution.

Kory, lets use some of that down time from running to track down that jaguar that ran Paul off the road. I figure with your computer skills we can hack into some database and find all the jaguars in Cache Valley pretty easy. There can't be that many!

It was in Ogden, not Logan.

Why didn't it come out? I was about to wash mine- any tips to get it clean?

Glad you are feeling better. I love your little boy he is so cute. I remember putting my son in the jogger at about 3 weeks old, the thing swallowed him up.

Jon - don't ask me for tips! I'm the one who couldn't get it out...

Josse - I love me little boy too. He's a lot better looking than me, so that's why his photo always get on my blog profile.
