Well I'm back. No real goals for the rest of 2016

Long-Term Running Goals:

PR in all distances 5k and up. Run both road and trail races. Slowly build up my mileage (SLOWLY!!!!!!!) back up to 90-100 miles a week when my body is ready. Cut my weight back to 155 lbs (currently 165 lbs)

Personal:

Grew up in Colorado. Married to former Weber State runner Kayla Blackford and have a son Perrin born June 2016. Family of 2 cats and a dog in our quaint home on the Ogden Bench. Disc golf enthusist. Love camping and back packing. Snowshoeing in the winter. Love a good local beer after a long run

4.5 miles before the race with warmup and strides. So I went into this race looking at it as a workout. I wanted to do a Lactic Clearing type workout. So I ran the first mile in 5:16 then slowed to a 5:58 ap for the next 5.38 miles on my watch. Then I ran the last 3 miles as fast as my calf would allow. 5:16 5:25 5:24 for about a 5:21.5 ap. Very happy with it. Easy cooldown with a massive group for about 4 miles. Have a massage tomorrow and icing today.
