Hope you had everything backed up! I usually remember how important that is every time I had a computer die on me.
As fate would have it, I also ended up running at noon, but it sounds like we had a little more cloud cover than you.

I only had a few things that are not to important on my laptop that I lost. I save all of my work stuff to the server.
And just for the record I liked my Laptop until the sad day it died.
