We were supposed to have a small track practice, but the kids didn't show up. I was at the Bremerton High track with my stuff and it was a pleasant evening, so I decided to do a workout. One mile warmup, then 8x800 with one-lap jog in between each. Ran them at a Yasso 800 pace, more or less, with 2:00 for every rest lap. Splits were really even until the last few, then I picked it up some. (2:53, 2:56, 2:56, 2:55, 2:53, 2:51, 2:48, 2:46). Six through eight were really nice, I felt very strong there. Probably should have done 10 or 12 of 'em. That'll be next time.
