Personal:

Started running in November 2007 to get fit. Now I'm back almost to square one after back surgery. I did it once and I'll do it again.

"In truth, runners don't race other runners. They race against themselves: to conquer their wills, to transcend their weaknesses, to beat back their nightmares. And while a runner can't actually beat himself, he can beat his time. Even years into running, he can get better."  Running for His Life by Michael Hall.

Late night TM run.  Thundershowers prevented me from venturing outside.  Interval run of 5 mins, 10 mins, and 12 mins @ 8 min/mi pace w/ 5 min cooldown in between.

Another late evening run.  I'm trying to get my house on the market so my life consists of work and a bunch of minor projects up until sundown.  Easy run against the headwind for the first half and with a tailwind on the last half.  Overall pace of 8:40/mi.  No run tomorrow.  I have an early flight in the morning and then a late flight that will get me home around 10ish.
