Personal:

Married with 2 lively boys. I love running and I love getting faster. Just trying to figure out how to balance life between being a mother, wife, part time nurse, and runner. :)

When I was in 6th grade I filled out a Getting to Know You sheet. Under nicknames I wrote, "My brothers call me Boo Legs, I think its because I run fast." (It really came from the movie, Strange Brew) And its been my family nickname ever since.

Went for a 6.5 miler today. Average pace was 8:30. I felt good but it still took a little more effort than it usually does to sustain that pace. I wasn't out of breath by any means but it definitely didn't feel like the "easy" pace it usually is.

The thought of jumping back into marathon training, figuring out long runs, speedwork, paces, etc for the fall makes me a little sick. I'm sort of ambivalent about it. I don't know if I'm going to do a fall marathon, maybe just stick to the smaller races. Then again, maybe its too soon to decide. I feel like the Utah Valley Marathon really took a lot out of me.... Or maybe I'm just a wuss. Probably a little bit of both.

UVM was tough. You could consider the new Huntsville marathon. It's sep 29th with a 10:00 start. Give yourself another week or two to get your legs back.

Hey thanks, I'll have to look into that. ....Just promise me there won't be any wind. :)

I wish I could promise...it looks pretty enticing though. I love the regular start time, instead of getting up super early, and I'd be more worried about cold than heat.
