5 miles before a weight lifting class at the gym. I made an interesting find today (probably not ground breaking news). I've noticed that if I run (or do any form of cardio) for at least 10 minutes before weight lifting, I burn more calories then if I did the same amount of cardio after the class. It seems like if I go into the class with my heart rate a little elevated, it stays elevated. Hmmm...food for thought. |
