Easy 10 around Standley Lake in 7:54 ave. pace.  SO nice out there today.  Very calm and a warm 34 F.  Quiet too.

Weird morning.  My kids all woke up around 4:30 a.m. today.  Why?  I have no idea.  I kept hearing them not realizing what the time was but feeling like I just wanted to stay in bed for longer, pretending like I was not hearing them.  Then finally at 5:15 a.m. I lifted my head to see what time it was and realized I'd better get them to go back to bed for another hour or two so they wouldn't be zombies all day.  Breanne was already dressed for the day, ready to rock and roll.  Abe was still mulling around in his PJs, but starving for breakfast.  Ali was ready for some milk and more sleeping.  So I got Ali a milk and put her back in her crib, got Breanne a water and talked her into going back to bed, and got Abe a bowl of oatmeal and talked him into going back to bed too.  By 5:35 a.m. I had gotten them all back down to bed and I could have just gone running then but it was still dark and I was still tired, so I went back to bed too.  Woke up to Ali tugging on my sleeve again at 7:30 a.m. Can she climb out of her crib now?  Guess so.

That's weird that they all woke up. One must have gotten up and woken the others up.

Ah the joys of little children.

Nice one little Ali -- I guess she did not get my message that it would be better to create havoc for a while without you knowing she could climb out. I should have been more specific ;-).

I love Standley lake -- but you must have had to do about 3-4 laps to get 10 miles? Unless you know more trails than I found when I ran there.

Yeah, Ali creates enough havoc while I'm awake. I don't need her creating more while I'm asleep.

From my house I run down Big Dry creek for a mile and a half and then up through a neighborhood and back up around Standley Lake. If I just went directly around the lake from my house it would still be about 7 though. You'll have to let me know the next time you're in Denver visiting your Mom and you, Carolyn, and I can get together for a run around the Lake!

The very best investment I made with my triplets was a crib tent ($78 - Babies r Us is open until 9:30pm). They loved theirs and so did I. I own 2 of them and they made life AWESOME!

My kids always wake each other up - as a matter of fact, they did it today. They were ready to party when I got home from the gym at 6:35am. Life as a mom....

I hate when my kids wake up early. At least they went back to bed a little bit. The lake sounds like a nice place to run.

Ouch sounds much too early for me even the 2nd awakening LOL well done on getting them all back to sleep, kids are hardwork but "they can make a good day bad, but always make a bad day good " :-)

Sam you hit the nail right on the head with that one. My kids have brought me FAAAAR more joy and happiness than pain or discomfort. They are so awesome.

And the good thing about their early morning was that they went to bed without a fight later that day at 7:00 p.m. They were so tired.
