Another snow day for Abe's school. Here's a picture:

Went to the gym and ran on the treadmill for as long as I could until the child care people paged because Abe had a bloody nose and Ali was extremly tired and fussy.

8 miles in 7:45 pace

Now that is some snow!

From Carolyn in Colorado on Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 11:10:47 from 198.241.217.15

My husband was listening to the radio this morning, and the guy on the radio said, "If you're looking for school closure information . . . " and I said, "Don't worry about it. Your school is closed."

I'm hoping to get out to a TM today too. I just shoveled my driveway so that I can get out.

For that they closed school?

From Nan Kennard on Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 11:29:40 from 174.51.250.151

Yeah Burt I don't even want to hear it. If it ever even snowed in Phoenix, your kids school probably gets closed for 4 inches.

From Nan Kennard on Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 11:31:37 from 174.51.250.151

Carolyn-I just shoveled my driveway too and it looks like the snowplow has been down my street once. The roads probably aren't that bad.

Even though it is bright and sunny (and bare ground) out here in Logan, I have decided to work from home today in honor of those in Colorado.

2 inches and Obama would have to declare it an emergency disaster and send some relief money.

Ha ha Love it Paul well done !

England is useless with snow, we have more than 5" of snow and thats it, the motorways get closed never mind the schools ?? I have never known a school close near us, although we can walk to the school as our town has over 6 primary kids schools and 2 highschools and the width of the town is not more than 4miles, ha ha most people live within a mile or 2 at most of there school :-)

Sorry Abe had a bloody nose is he okay?

From Nan Kennard on Thu, Oct 29, 2009 at 20:07:48 from 174.51.250.151

Paul-You're so thoughtful to make that huge sacrifice and work from home.

Burt-Hahaha

Sam-Abe's okay. Its his 4th bloody nose in 2 days. Maybe the cold and humidity is causing them? I don't know but at least they don't last long.
