First workout of the year, last real workout was sometime in mid-Dec, not counting the snowball fights with the ladies.

Pullups/pushups - one set/hour from 8am to 5pm.

Spin - Old instructor has left and the new one needs some work.  This one sounds too calm.

Abs - Kim is leaving! Not a good thing.  She was a great motivator.

Nice to hear from you. Hope you had a great time with the family!! Never hurts to take a little break and let the body get healthy.

Hey Jeffery, it was great to see Rachel and the kids again :)

Btw, are you affected by the flooding and avalanches up there?

From montelepsy on Thu, Jan 08, 2009 at 15:37:58

Jefferey. You'd think I would be able to spell it while looking at it, but you'd be wrong.

We are doing fine but our neighbors down in the city are getting hammered. We are up on a ridge about 600 feet higher.

We are getting together some people and trucks etc. to see what we can do to help. Check out the pics on Sean Sundwalls blog http://sean.fastrunningblog.com/ .

Glad to hear you're okay. I can't imagine what your neighbors are going through.

The pics are crazy.

I'm happy to hear from you!!! And happy that you had save travels. Snow Ball fights, huh? I thought you lived in the warm parts of California.

From Lucia on Thu, Jan 08, 2009 at 15:52:56

And he's back!!! It must've been sooooo hard to leave again! Glad to hear you're well and had a good visit. Snowball fights count!

Hey what happened to Mrs. Montelepsy? The links to her blog don't seem to work...

From montelepsy on Thu, Jan 08, 2009 at 16:11:35

Camille,

Rachel and I took the girls to the snow in Yosemite. We were all much better at hurling smacktalk than snowballs.

Lucia,

You're so right. I wanted to stay home. I'll be back in Apr though.

I have asked Rachel why here link doesn't work and I have yet to hear from her. She's got some 'splaning to do.

From Kelli on Thu, Jan 08, 2009 at 18:40:47

I think Rachel is just sick of us, that is all!

Welcome back, but sorry that means you are back there instead of at home! Glad you had a fun Christmas and that you both ignored all of us the entire time. That means you were having fun!!

How is the kitchen?

From Marion on Thu, Jan 08, 2009 at 19:35:57

Welcome black to the blog, but bummer about being away from home again :(

From montelepsy on Mon, Jan 12, 2009 at 23:31:00

Hey Kelli and Marion,

It's good to be back.

The kitchen is better but not complete yet.
