Actively rested by eating a stack of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

"Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired." -Mortimer Caplan

pm - Was talked into going to spin.  After spin, saw a couple of Russians doing funky stuff on the mats and I asked if there was a class.  Nope, it was just them and they invited me to join.  My ride didn't feel like staying, so I ran back.  It's weird running without the Garmin.  I think my pace was around a 10:00 mile.

Peanut Butter and Jelly is a staple! What kind of jelly?

From Marion on Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 15:05:29

Yumm! I sure love peanut butter. LOVE that quote! :) What's the temp there these days?

From montelepsy on Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 16:09:24

Actually I used jam and marmalade. Grape, strawberry and orange. 3 sandwiches.

The temperature is 50-60 at night and 70-80 in the daytime. Real nice. I hope it holds up.

From Marion on Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 16:15:32

I may cry over those temps! That is PerfECT!!!

From sam on Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 16:26:55

Marmalade monte- thats worse than public swimming pools LOL.

I love strawberry jam and peanut butter the crunchy one too! mmmmmm

No comment on temps, very jealous it snowed on my run today! :-(

I love when you toast the bread and the peanutbutter gets all melty with the jam. MMMMM I might have to have that for dinner tonight.

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 11:11:36

I hope you enjoyed the romp with the the funky Russians on the mat. Hmmm...that sounded bad.

Good quote...and good workout. What is your next target race?

When are you due back to the US?

From montelepsy on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 12:45:45

You may be right, Sam, but the urine content of marmalade should be significantly lower than even the swankiest of pools.

Lori, I toasted all three, then washed it down with some EasyMac. It wasn't a very nutritious day...

Burt, as bad as it sounds it was very enjoyable. We did things I won't attempt to pronounce...

Eric, I should be back in Jul :)

Sep is the Air Force Marathon. I'd like to go to that if it all works out.

I hate it when Burt posts comments with jokes that I would make before me... Some day I'll catch you...

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:20:00

You may catch me on the road, but when it comes to my rapist wit, NEVER! (rapist wit - Jim Carey)

From Lucia on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:23:52

Ughhhhh I hate it when Burt makes me look up words/quotes on google! I would pay you to dress up like a rapist wit during a race! - hey, it can be your matching outfits for the Ragnar relay race!

I hope you didn't find that on the Urban Dictionary. You can learn a lot of interesting things there. Maybe that's why you speak English so well.

From Lucia on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:39:30

Urban Dictionary is my survival guide... It's amazing how many things I learn still after 10 years of living here...

From montelepsy on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:44:23

I've never heard of the Urban Dictionary. I'll have to check it out. My English definitely needs improvement.

Ay-Yi-Yi!

From Lucia on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:57:16

Be careful mike - there are a lot of things in the Urban Dictionary that you're better off not knowing...

From montelepsy on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 14:13:09

Holy moly, I going study and get fluent. Peace dat out mutha!

From Burt on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 14:45:09

This is not good. Rocket, it's all your fault! You've urbanized Mike!
