One of the folks here got the P90x system in the mail and we tried the Ab Ripper video.  16 minutes and 3 seconds of wanting to quit.

Mike,

Expand on the "ran into friend" comment!!

Btw, my hubby said he was going to order P90X this week. Not sure if he did or not. So, your 16 minutes and 3 seconds opinion: worth the money?

Teena,

There's a stretch of road here parallel to the flightline that doesn't get much traffic and it's about a mile long. A lot of folks run there. I usually run by myself, but yesterday I ran with Dwain, an ex-Marine, and we encountered Jim on the one mile stretch. I keep calling Jim, Jeff. I'm a lousy friend.

I've only experienced the ab portion and I don't know how much it costs, but I really liked it. I'm still sore from yesterday. All of my abs are sore, upper and lower. I look forward to doing more of the workouts. In fact, I can't wait to try more of the workouts.

Okay, here's the funny stuff ... since it was your post I thought when you wrote "ran into a friend" that you literally "ran into a friend." Like a total full on collision!! I was expecting some funny story! Funny -- I would not have thought of that with any other person's posts ... just yours!!

I'll tell Ry you liked the workout. That's a good sign!

It is VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! But, my sister in law loves it. She does the AbRipperX, is that the one you did? She has abs of steel, as do you. i have abs of jelly and think I will just keep it that way!

Teena, running into anyone is a concern of mine. At night the roads aren't well lit and it's hard to see people. Especially since people don't follow running protocol. They just run on whatever side of the street they want. It's just a matter of time before I do run into someone. For reals.

Kelli,

Jelly abs don't run as fast as you. Ab Ripper is what I did. I didn't notice if it had an x at the end. Have you tried your sister in laws dvd? It's insane.

My SIL lives in New Orleans so I have not. I put the P90X series on hold at the library. They have 2 copies and like 300 holds. So I might get to see it next year sometime.

I wonder if it's on youtube yet. My abs are still aching...
