Informally learning Arabic at work.  I'm lousy at languages.  I tried saying good morning to folks, but ended up saying seven-something.  Too bad there's not Arabic sign language.  I think I'd be much better at that.

I barely speak English.

Great workouts!

My mom lived in an Arabic country for a little while when she was growing up, and all she remembers how to say is the bad words LOL (leave it to my mother). Anyhow, once she and my spanish teacher disagreed with something, and my mom told me to repeat an Arabic phrase to her. It sounded like I was hauking a luggie. gross. I guess the meaning of the phrase wasn't much different.

P.S. I didn't repeat it to my teacher.

Kelli,

Check out engrish.com for examples of people who barely speak english.

Camille,

There are sounds in Arabic that english speakers only use when puking. I read that in a language book, except they put it more politely.

Your mom sounds fun.

I remember you used to be really good at sign language. You picked it up quickly and enjoyed it.

Also, you have met the new dog. And you LOVE her!
